This quality finished home in the heart of Sherwood set a record for small lot house sales in the area when it was completed in 2016.  When reviewing design concepts, it was important to the team at grayHAUS to develop two homes side-by-side that when viewed from the street looked like they had been built in different eras.  Berry 1 is our take on a modern Queensland home which is grounded with a brick veneer base; the upper level consisting of weatherboard cladding and doubled gabled roofs.  When viewed from the backyard, the modern design incorporated parapet roofs, sunken balconies and a 2-story void connecting the alfresco area and living space.

Internally, the sleek modern kitchen anchored the home around an open plan living environment for dining, lounge room and large alfresco area, while a separate study ensured the home professional was catered for.  The upstairs design focused on a central family lounge room with all bedrooms connected to this space, but with enough separation to ensure privacy.  The large master retreat still has one of our largest bedrooms and walk-in-robe we have produced, which was a key aspect of the design that the buyers fell in love with.
